DVDTalk Review of Mr. Brooks

Seriously...what the fuck is with the first two paragraphs in David Walker's review?

The review should only be the first two paragraphs.

It actually explains Costner very well.

Yeah, David found a very clumsy way to interject a "fact" that should never have been interjected in the first place.

Not sure if the story is true or not but it would explain his style of acting. I always thought it was a concentration issue but, apparently, it must've been the weed.

I read the review after hearing the repeated claims of libel in the Apocalypto thread and found it to be an interesting annecdote that truly does explain a lot about some of Costner's performances.

I'm sure Mr. Costner's representation would find it amusing too...why don't you e-mail it to them, Don, and let us know what they say.

To be frank about it, their reaction doesn't matter to me so there's nothing worth writing them about. The comments had enough qualifiers to warrant protected status though if someone else raises the issue with them, I'm sure the huge amount of exposure could only elevate David's status in the news.

Perhaps the more apt question is ... what was David Walker on? My good friend Tooty told me he was on <spoiler>.
