(DEAD) Cheap Titles at DDD
Might be a price mistake, but the TV Series Profit and Silk Stockings season 1 are both .98$ at Deep Discount.
There are also a few movies that are below 1$ (like the Free Willy Triple Feature) But I don't really know how to search for them.
EDIT: OK, it's rampant on the site, so I am sure its a mistake and the orders will probably be cancelled. Oh well. Worth a shot I guess.

Rampant is the word alright...
Fountain is 2.05
Pan's Labrynth is 1.81
Superman Ultimate is 7.28
Third Man Criterion is 2.59
Apocolypto is 1.98
and probably many more...seems to be affecting only new releases...

Yeah, I was excited at first because it was some random somewhat obscure titles I saw for cheap, but with things like the Superman set and Friends sets included I lost hope. It appears they misplaced a decimal when changing prices.

Will they charge me the correct amounts, do you think? You would think "no" and they would just cancel them, but this DD we're talking about so you never know.
Edit: And that appears to be exactly what it is. A demical point in the wrong direction pricing mistake.

Anyone have experience with a previous Deep Discount pricing mistake? Just wondering if it's worth putting an order in with hopes they might offer a coupon of sorts to compensate for the error...

They hardly ever do anything to correct their mistakes to put customers on the plus side. One exception I had was when they e-mailed me an incorrect order summary during a 20% off sale -- it had my billing info, was a huge order, and it had the shipping info of some doctor on the east coast! They wound up not charging me at all for his order, but getting me my correct order and taking an additional 20% off of it (40% off discount in all).

Yeah, would be nice if it did, but since there were so many titles priced wrong I'm sure it won't work. Last time I remember a price mistake that worked was when the Planet of the Apes head set was a couple of bucks and a handful of people got in on the deal.

I got in 4 separate orders to increase my chances of getting a deal, but I'm sure they won't fly. Ordered Silk Stalkings S1, Third Man: CC, Superman Ultimate Collection and Apocalypto.

Did anyone get an email confirmation for one of these "mispriced" titles? I was able to get an order thru for the Superman set and got an order #, but have not received an email confirmation.

Does anyone know their phone number? I understand they have the site down to fix their problems but I need to place an pre-order tonight as I am leaving town for a week and will be without internet access.
And no, I'm not trying to take advantage of website pricing errors, I just need to get my pre-order in before Tuesday.
