American Dreams Season 1 $16.96 at Wal-Mart!
I just bought Season 1 of American Dreams at Wal-Mart for $16.96 + tax!
For comparison's sake, it's selling at Best Buy for $24.95 and $19.99 at Circuit City. Apparently, the MSRP on it was dropped from it's original point of $90. I hope this drop will spur sales so that Season 2 can be released soon.
This DVD set has the strangest packaging I've seen for a TV series. Instead of one big digipak with all 7 discs in it, they opted for two, one with 4 discs in it and one with 3 discs in it.

I saw this yesterday at my local WM as well. I had it in my hands, but put it back at the last minute. I'm awfully tempted to go back and get it though. I remember wanting to buy it right about when it first came out and it was way expensive. So tempting...

I think the music was good. That's the reason it did have a $90 MSRP.
I got mine from CHTVClub as a enrollment & bought one in Nov. when J&R had them for $16. Glad I sold one.

I also saw this at Wal Mart over the weekend. Too bad I paid $50 for it when it was originally released 3 or 4 years ago. Oh well, it's a quality show and I was happy they retained all the original music. 2 of the highlights of the show for me were:
1) Gail O'Grady (she is absolutely stunning)
2) Brittany Snow's Meg Pryor Character
