Absolutely TOP NEWS. Cheers mate.
At the bottom of the article it says "and many more". I hope that includes Killer Party. If anyone gets the updated article or further news, please post.

Excellent! 6 long years of waiting, finally over with!
I last saw the uncut verison sometime in 2001 on cable and have'nt seen it aired since(+ don't get those movie channels anymore). I had to crack down and buy the old R rated VHS release to see it again in decent quality(since the uncut bootlegs are crap!) last year.
So this is great news!

Great news!
Watching that Slasher documentary made me want to see this again. I can't believe its been over 20 years. the article mention an "all new HD transfer", will this be in SD or HD (or both)?
Very cool news on From Beyond as well.

Even more exciting is the release of the Weinstein brothers' early foray in horror, "Burning." Tony Maylam's slasher opus, featuring the FX work of Tom Savini, is also getting a hi-def remastering with the promise of "intact" gore footage, a commentary, an interviews featurette and behind-the-scenes footage of Savini's FX work.

I am getting worried about this release. I havent seen any pre-orders anywhere and the other releases mentioned, From Beyond and ROTLD have both had pre-orders and cover art posted.
Anyone seen any sites for pre-orders or cover art?
Cheers

count me in as one who is still nervous about this...neither The Burning nor Scarecrows is showing up for preorder anywhere, while From Beyond and ROTLD have been for weeks...hopefully they will be up soon...

There is a pre-order on movies unlimited at the bottom of the page, http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musit...asp?sku=D52023, but that isn't solid enough for me. To be honest, I have got a bad feeling about this one, I thought it seemed too good to be true. (Here's still hoping for cover art soon)

From Retro Slashers:
" I hadn't caught this straight away, but luckily fan Drew Bourdet was quick to let me know that Michael Felsher revealed via his interview on last week's Deadpit Radio, that The Burning DVD from MGM will have these special features:
20-Minute Tom Savini Interview + FX Footage
Tony Maylam Audio Commentary
Still Gallery
2x Trailers "
Surely there has got to be some cover art and more pre orders showing up soon.

That cover art is terrible. I was really hoping for the one posted above, that custom DVD art was amazing. Pretty disappointed but not as disappointed as I would be if the transfer was as bad as that cover.
