Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble (DS) -- any good?
I picked this up today. Never heard of it until yesterday when I saw a used copy of the game at EB. The game is supposedly discontinued, and I've never seen it in a store before (never looked for it, honestly), so when I found a new copy today I picked it up ($19.99 CAD).
I had only read the IGN review, which gave it an 8.5/10. The reader reviews on IGN are also really positive (around 8 or 9 out of 10). But other reviews I've read seem less forgiving.
Has anyone out there played this game and care to comment about it? Is it a fun, quirky title that I think it is, or should I just get a refund?

I bought it for that price (used) and I absolutely loved it
it was the first time playing any game in the series, so I really didn't know what to expect. The game design and controls were pretty spot on, and I liked the features added for the DS game.
I think it's pretty easy personally. First time through the game shouldn't take more than about 3 days, depending on your dedication

A few Awkward control choices aside, I thought it was a great entry to the series.

Based on the reviews I've read, seems like the bad points of this game are:
- Too much hand-holding and guidance provided during levels/puzzles
- The need to switch between using the buttons and the stylus for gameplay too often or simultaneously
- Cut scenes require clunky stylus interaction to move forward
Still, I'm leaning toward keeping it because it's one of those atypical oddball games and because it's out of print.
How long does the game take to complete, typically? And what about replay value? Is it just replaying with harder difficulties? Are there many unlockables?
