DVD Talk Platinum Edition
Awesome. I also RSVP'd at the Arclight. Thanks OP.
EDIT: A thought just occurred to me... I wonder if it will be dubbed? I hope not.

Avoid that screening like the plague.
I tried to attend the "Nightwatch" free screening a few years back, getting the tickets for free off the internet from Fox Searchlight. They don't have any way of knowing how many tickets are going out, so about 1,000 people showed up to a screening that was held in a 250 seat theater. We got there over an hour early and still didn't get in.

OTOH I went to a Nightwatch screening and ended up with posters, a cap, T-shirt, toy baby wind-up and other swag in a theater that was only 3/4 full. Previews are ALWAYS YMMV.

The DAYWATCH (yes I went) reads "second chapter in the epic fantasy trilogy" so it looks like there will be a third. I loved the DVD but seeing the movie in a theater with an audience that "got it" was even better. If you like high-concept action fantasy (which apparently many non-DVDTalk reviewers do not) it's very highly recommended.
