Dang. They certainly don't make it easy to get caught up for each coming season! If they start when they started this year, I'll have until 9/27 to finish the whole season. I wanna watch this live on HD this year too.

Any news on if the HD version will be released the same day?

I was only able to watch the premiere during it's first run, so I'll definitely pick this up and get the season watched before 7. It's better to watch the season all the way through anyways. I also hope a HD DVD or BD version arrives the same day.

Looking forward to watching this season again - there were some of the best episodes of the entire series, and even the disappointing ones were still ok.

Same here.

I've never been able to completely catch up with this show. I was almost there this season, but couldn't watch anything past the half-way point. I'm not even sure I saw all of the first half episodes. I was hoping for an earlier release so I could watch the new season from the beginning. From some of the ep descripitions I read it looks like things got really interesting this season.

Dude, I'm still stuck on Season 3... haven't had time to watch anything! And yet, I still keep on buying DVDs...

I recently caught the Smallville bug in January. Since then I've wrapped up seasons 1 through five. Looking forward to this, I'm just sad I'll have to rampage through them to be caught up when the season starts.

Just an FYI - the CW is restarting S6 from the beginning TONIGHT. Looks like the best way for me to get caught up - and in HD!
