It could be anything, like someone's student film that they're putting on YouTube.

There was hardly any camera movement, and there was no action or characters or anything else going in it, it was just a few seconds of footage from a few different locations. I'd hope that if I had spent a few years in film school, I'd at least be able to make something like that.

It's not a trailer. There's no mystery here. It's the new commercial for the VW Golf, with the voiceover removed.

there's some code kicking around that lets you embed youtube videos into forums...Anyone know where to get it or how to implement it?

Look to the right of the video. There is the word "Embed" and some code. Copy and paste that code.
