I had no idea Jenna was 33 years old; she looks much younger.

Spoiler:
And I really hope this isn't Rashida's last episode. I absolutely love her.

Glad she'll be ok. I'm sad that the season is over already; it was such a long wait between season 2 an 3.

No kidding. I saw her on the guest list and eagerly awaited her appearance only to have someone else(I think it was John Stamos) come out instead.

I hope Karen is gone. She's just not a good character. She isn't funny. The only purpose she has is the be a wedge between Jim and Pam. Although I hope her leaving doesn't cause Jim and Pam to get together because there wouldn't be any more point to the show if that happened.

That's a good point. Personally I find the Jim/Karen relationship storyline boring. Wow...they're dating. Big deal. Their relationship hardly ever gets mentioned and since they've been together Pam has just been mopey and not much has been done with her character either. As much as I like Jim and Pam their relationship wouldn't be any better. The Office obviously isn't a "relationship" show, so having Jim and Pam as a couple probably wouldn't do anything for me just like Jim and Karen in a relationship didn't do anything. I wish it would go back to how it was before when Jim and Pam were flirting constantly but never actually got together. That's more interesting to me. I never watched the British version of the Office, but unless I'm mistaken the Jim character and the Pam character finally get together on the series finale. That would be a good way for the US version to do it too.

I was super slow at work last night so I was reading a magazine, In Touch I believe, and I swear it said
Spoiler:
Karen is back next season and the New York office is featured more. They said Jim gets the job and Pam goes through self-growth (as witnessed last ep). This is first I read of any of this so I can't say it is too reliable.

I saw a brief video clip (probably 20 seconds) of Dwight in charge of Scranton talking with Pam

Spoiler:
Dwight asks Pam to be the top-secret Asst. Regional Manager, while he will retain the title of both Regional Manager and Asst. Regional Manager ("I need someone I can trust")

pretty good episode. The Jim/Pam scene was pretty good and the end scene with Ryan getting the job and then promptly saying to Kelly "WE'RE DONE" was fantastic.

They promoted a man who hasn't even made a sale? This organization is truly fucked.

I had an idea that Ryan would be the surprise hire based on the fact that Andy was getting a lot more screen time lately.

Now I have to wonder about the other ending that was shot - was it a Pam/Jim thing or was it someone else going to NY?

As far as Pam/Jim? Hopefully there's very little soap opera stuff going on. It'd be nice to see a TV relationship that wasn't so overly dramatic, a la Ross and Rachel.

It would be funny if there was only one ending all along but they told people there were two so there would be uncertainty.

Great finale. Jan getting fired, Ryan getting hired, Dwight taking over then not, and most of all Pam and Jim together. Great episode!
