The Melinda love-fest was unwarranted tonight - I think when the judges re-watch, they'll notice how she butchered an attempted high note in the Whitney Houston song and then membled her way through the 2nd stanza of I'm a Woman. I thought her last two were not so hot. Blake did pretty well - I enjoyed his last song. Jordin was pretty consistent, too, although her admitting to not know a song done in the 80s (I think the Cover Girls redid Wishing on a Star as a mild hit) makes me want to not include her. I just don't see Melinda's pop appeal at all.

I used to be a fan of Blake and was hoping to hear him bust out with a great version of "Roxanne", really shouting out the name... and he didn't. Probably couldn't.

I am still hoping that Shrek gets sent home tomorrow, but I'm hoping that Jordin wins it all.

I enjoyed Blake tonight. His last song really entertained me. I hope he gets to the finals, if only for bringing something, anything new to the proceedings. I usually like Jordin, but thought her first 2 songs were a bit zzzzzzzzz. Melinda was perfect. As always. zzzzzzzzzz.

She did it on purpose because the official who was reading the fax from Randy about her song choice said Randy Johnson and then realized his mistake and said Jackson. She purposefully repeated the "Randy Johnson".
