DVD Talk review of 'Shinsengumi: Assassins of Honor (aka Band of Assassins)'
I read Stuart Galbraith IV's DVD review of Shinsengumi: Assassins of Honor (aka Band of Assassins) at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=27901 and...
i still have the downloaded copy of their leaflet declaring 'digitally remastered' on it. is there an organisation in the USA relating to such trading standards? is there someone who can technically decipher what's being presented in terms of the contents of the disc and the information revealed when you see how it's stored, ecoded etc?

Was about to get a copy of this but after reading the review, it just reminded me so much of Animeigo's "Samurai Assassin." The video quality on that dvd was just so atrocious that a film of calibre doesn't deserve this type of treatment.

i can't work it out. i'm seeing reviews like this :
http://www.insidepulse.com/articles/...vd-review.html
that seem to think the videos great. dunno if there's an element of convincing themselves it's great because it's old and looks "okay" or what...?
