It feels so steep for a sd-dvd, but I know of no other way to see the director's cut, and I love that movie.

I own this and I highly recomend it. the directors cut is much longer and makes a big difference in the feel of this film. I know many studios try to cash in on directors cuts by just working in an extra minute or 2 of footage that doesnt make much difference in a film, but that is not the case with this particular film. This directors cut makes an already great film even better.

This will probably never show up from Amazon. Some marketplace sellers are selling it for cheap, though, but write them to make sure all contents are there.

Don't be so pesimistic. On december 2005, Short 2- Dreams, which was OOP but available at Amazon. For some reason that order was kept open and they delivered it last January, 2 years after the order was placed. I also ordered United 93 LE back in October 2006 and it was shipped on December. Sometimes Amazon delivers on these OOP DVDs.

The great thing about Amazon.com is that they make it exceedingly easy to cancel an order, I like the no hassle approach.

A friend of mine borrowed my version some time ago and I pointed them to this thread. I'm sure they'll be disappointed, but not entirely surprised.
