EBay Experts: Help me sell my old Consoles
I'm trying to free up some space and make a little money at the same time, so I decided to sell my used XBox and Gamecube. I know that is a little late in the game with both the Wii and 360 out, but I have some other things to bundle with the auctions. The Gamecube that I want to sell has a digital port and I plan to sell it with the official component cable and the memory card 251. The XBox that I want to sell comes with 1 s controller, 1 xbox live headset, 1 official component cable, and 1 advanced s video adapter. Both consoles are used, but in great condition with original boxes and instruction manuals How much do you think I should sell them on ebay for starting bids? Any help or advice you can give I'd greatly appreciate.

When I sold my xbox, GC and PS2, I checked completed auctions in Ebay. I defined an average price for each console and put something around that... in Craigslist.
I sold all of them the same day I posted the messages.

Normally, you're better off selling the component video cables seperate from the consoles. At least, especially with the Gamecube. Offer free shipping if you by both together.
That is, if you have the original a/v cables. If not, that's a bit harder.

I wanted to thank all of you that helped me. I made $110 between selling my Gamecube and XBox. Not bad considering I'd probably get crap for them at eb or gamestop. I'm now considering sellling some of my oop criterion dvds.

Missed this post originally, but I would recommend for anyone selling an Xbox to point out in the auction the type of DVD-ROM. The original Xbox is still rather sought out for modding and its a big bonus to get a drive that works with DVD-Rs and DVD-RWs.
Anything that might make it a better choice as an Xbox Media Center (drive and motherboard version) should be stressed in the auction.

I haven't tried them online yet, but they have a store near me that I use to trade in stuff for and never have any problems. I assume it's just as reputable as the B&M store.
