This, is Punchy.

He & Babe are good friends and play together nicely.

However, earlier today I heard Punchy yelling at Babe, and I could hardly believe my ears. To put it simply, Punchy said the 'F' word. I took him aside and scolded him about how it was wrong to drop the F-Bomb at such an early age or at any age for that matter. Anyway, he just sat there and didn't say a word.

Now he's embarrassed and has been hiding under the pillows all day and won't come out no matter how much I tell him that everything will be okay.

How in the world do you deal with a pet that won't listen?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you have a problem with him saying F***? It doesn't mean the same thing when they say it.

psssttt....

He thinks he's a ninja.....WOW!

He's cool!

Well, I'm not gonna burst his bubble, I mean, if he thinks he's a ninja, he's a ninja!

Must be nice having him around the house...always on guard and protecting you even when you're asleep!

Now, I'm not 'hip' to all the ninja's tricks, so I'll ask again...

Does he Bite?

'Cause I don't want to wake up with tiny bite marks all over my ankles.

Can I borrow My Cousin Vinny?Yes!

OH! & BTW: PUNCHY UPDATE!!!

I put some of his Super Special Punchy Treats next to him on the bed, and when his little tail started a waggin', I knew he'd be talking to me in no time. He slowly backed out from under the pillows and started munchin'!

When I asked him where he learned such a word, he looked at the ceiling, and thought for a moment, and then said he heard a man say it on the TV.

Well, it must have been from a movie soundtrack, because we don't promote or encourage potty-talk. I told him that the most intelligent of lifeforms don't use that language (...like 'E.T'. or 'Alf', for example), and with a little patience and applied knowledge, he doesn't have to either.

Now, I don't think he understood everything I was saying, but he started waggin' his tail and then jumped up into my arms, and started licking on my face! & :)

While I do appreciate Punchy's efforts to cover for me, I must admit that I taught him the dreaded word. :(

I was simply explaining to him how much some babes like to f*** and he must have thought I was talking about his friend. -ohbfrank-

I did not, however, promote yelling in any way, shape, or form. That must be a domestic issue. :grunt:

Typical. :grumble:

It's OK to punch things, but we're not allowed to cuss or be naked. (pics of Punchy?)

YOU GUYS...

gilbert: That's nice for you to try and take the fall for Bruce Willis (or Bruce Campbell, or that Lenny Bruce character, or even Bruce Lee for that matter) but they're all on my SHAT LIST and HINEYS ARE GONNA GLOW!!!

Kudama: Hey, they can run around the house naked all they like (well, until they get older, anyway). Babe is always naked but Punchy on the other hand, likes to wear his little boxing shorts. (He says they make him feel, 'grown-up'.) He's only allowed to slug pillows, or his little 'Punching (Heart) Bag', that I set up for him during his pretend-training seasons.

Here he is after a workout:
