Elvis Costello & the Imposters question

Thinking about catching Elvis Costello and the Imposters next month in Detroit at the State Theatre. Chances are, I'll only see EC once in my life so I'm wondering if I should wait until he is touring with the Attractions. For the record, I'm a huge fan of his first five albums and a moderate fan of the rest of his catalog.

Anyone have any idea what songs he typically plays with the Imposters? Does he draw from all of his albums or focus on the ones that featured The Imposters? I guess what I'm really looking for is a recent setlist with the Imposters.

Thanks...

You'll be waiting till the sun burns out to see him with the Attractions again. As it stands, though, the Impostors are comprised of two thirds of the Attractions, Steve Nieve and Pete Thomas. The missing Attraction, Bruce Thomas, has had a long-standing feud with Costello and it's highly unlikely they'll ever work together again. This tour is to support his early career best of CD that's coming out, will likely draw heavily from that period. He usually plays a good deal of material from that era anyway.

Davey Farragher is a very competent bassist just not as animated as Bruce Thomas. As long as Steve Neive is on board the show will be ok.

No sweat. When I first read this, I was scratching my head wondering where the heck my earlier posting went... until I finally realized it was a new thread!

Steve Nieve blew my mind when I saw EC back in '02. Fantastic show, 3 hours long and full of hits and new stuff alike. EC is probably my favorite concert I've ever seen.
