Yeah, it got canceled, but thankfully, they knew well before the writing and production of the 2nd season that there wasn't going to be a 3rd, so the show has a definite conclusion with no cliffhanger (unlike Deadwood and Carnivale).

Of course since this is a HBO show the dvd set will be priced way too high...I was finally able to get Rome season 1 from Best Buy at the end of 2006 for $40, HBO really needs to wake up and price their sets more reasonable..I still have not bought Sopranos Season 6 Part 1 yet, that one just won't come down in price!

I cant wait for this set! Ill get it used though. I find em pretty fast here in town and Ill be damned if Ill pay some inflated price for HBO

Completely agree. I also got Rome S1 at the best buy christmas sale.
Its the only HBO season I own. I would like to get more, I just cant afford to. There's just so much more stuff I could get for $90.
