Thanks for the info., I was wondering about this just last night as I was debating deleting the eps from my DVR and just waiting to watch them on DVD.

Unlike DEADWOOD, which has two 2-hour HBO films coming in 2008, isn't this show done for good?

I wonder if HBO will put out a "Complete Series" box with exclusive extras.

I just finished the first season yesterday and can't wait to see the second season.

Didn't it get cancelled?

Yeah, it got canceled, but thankfully, they knew well before the writing and production of the 2nd season that there wasn't going to be a 3rd, so the show has a definite conclusion with no cliffhanger (unlike Deadwood and Carnivale).

Of course since this is a HBO show the dvd set will be priced way too high...I was finally able to get Rome season 1 from Best Buy at the end of 2006 for $40, HBO really needs to wake up and price their sets more reasonable..I still have not bought Sopranos Season 6 Part 1 yet, that one just won't come down in price!

Hopefully they release this in the Hi Def format or else i might have to pull the trigger on this release. This was a very good show that will be canceled after this season.

Completely agree. I also got Rome S1 at the best buy christmas sale.

Its the only HBO season I own. I would like to get more, I just cant afford to. There's just so much more stuff I could get for $90.

I thought s3 was wonderful as always. not sure what there is to be disappointed about except there is no concrete ending to anything, and if those final two telefilms never materialize, there may never be, and I am still fine with that.

Agreed. Gorgeous cover art and a really nice contrast to the dark brown colour scheme used in S1's DVD cover art. The two sets will look great next to each other on the shelf!
