Newbury Comics (Select) Criterion Sale
They just began marking down selected Criterion titles at my local Newburys today and the sales clerk mentioned that it will be lasting for approximately 2 months.
For reference -
I picked up The Burmese Harp marked down from 25.99 to 19.99.
Overlord was marked down from 34.99 (I think) to 25.99.
Looks like they are honoring certain titles on their site as well. I can confirm this for The Burmese Harp but Overlord is $3 higher than street.
**** edit ****
Burmese Harp was actually cheaper than I originally mentioned by $1 - retailing at 19.99.
I also picked up the SE of Seven Samurai today - marked down from 42.99 to 31.99.
It's nice to see Newburys actually make it worth buying on the street!! ... well, at least occasionally for it's loyalist customers.

Yup! I work near the government center one and live near the Newbury St. one! Sounds like some good prices, and I always like to support those guys. And I just happen to be looking to pick up a copy of "The Burmese Harp".

My pleasure guys
I too try to support Newburys whenever I can. Their selection of films and music may not number the local competition's (ie Best Buy, Comp USA, Walmart et al.) but they truly do have the upper hand when considering availability and quality.

I was just in the Newbury comics in West Lebanon, NH and all of the retail price Criterions at $39.99 were $25.99, including some OOP titles that I saw like Straw Dogs. Others were as low as $15.99 (Chasing Amy, Beasties) and a couple were $19.99 like Kicking and Screaming.
Decent deals, but I had no money
