The Good Shepherd

I just saw the good shepherd on widescreen dvd. Being the widescreen version there was a black line on top and bottom, about halfway through movie the words THANK YOU was on the bottom black line. What was that, has anyone had this happen to them? I watch a lot of DVD's, bout 6 per week and never had this happen, anyone know what that was all about?

What part of the film was it? Could they have just been subtitles for another language spoken in the background?

That's what I'm thinking. I haven't watched mine yet though (blind buy).

I watched it on widescreen DVD and don't remember noticing any THANK YOU. Maybe you accidentally turned your CC on and then off again for that moment? Or I just got a different version?
