I'm sort of shocked how much I like this show, it's like an action B grade film..
so of course, I'm sure FOX will cancel it.. but maybe being the lead in to 24 can save it for now.

Unfortunately, the first night didn't get great ratings, so we'll see how last night's went. Seems to me, if they want audiences to find their new shows these days, they need to start out by sticking them after American Idol.

Another fun episode. A drive-in movie theater? Even cooler. So few exist anymore. So I recall someone mentioning a spoiler in the opening credit sequence. I caught it tonight. Pretty blatant if you ask me!
I can't wait for next week!

I've enjoyed the first 3 hours. It's going to be one of those 'why don't they call the police' annoying type of shows, but once you get past that it's not bad so far. Although they keep running down the same highway every time.
My wife is distracted by the cars sometimes having tinted windows, then in close ups they don't. I didn't notice it until she mentioned it, I've been distracted by the camera (and crane, and operator) reflections in the cars/windows/doors etc.

I liked the mountain outside of Rome. I also liked how the highway they're driving up (which Capt. Reynold's seat cover called "The" I-75) has the same yellow lines on it over and over and over again. And how they got the "scrub" on the side of the road between Kennedy and Jacksonville to look like the "scrub" in California.

I thought the episode was quite fun. It's disappointing the ratings have been horrible for the first 3 hours. Tim Minear and Ben Queen must be reading the Nielsen numbers right now and saying "Oh shit, we're toast!"
The only thing I didn't get was that interrogation from the fake highway patrol officer.

I like the show, but the wife goes in the other room.
One think that kinda annoys me, more than the tint, or the scenery, is the random changing lanes. Drivers weaving back and forth when there is clear driving directly in front of them !

Yep, I pretty much hate everything about this show yet for some inexplicable reason I'm still getting a kick out of it. I figure my amusement will end at about the same time that Fox drops the ax.
