Official Real World/Road Rules Challenge Thread "Inferno 3" (Starts 04/10/07)
I'm surprised no one has started a thread about it. Reminder, it is a 1 hr premiere tonight.
From the look of the previews:
I cannot wait. Except that I have to go to bed now and I will watch it tomorrow.

I can only watch MTV at work and I'm off Tuesdays. But rest assured I'll be watchin' it. I saw some serious craziness and even blood in the promo.
Oh yeah...maybe I can watch the ep on mtv.com.

Would someone please explain to me why MTV continues to run clips, after the show is over, that ruin the suspense they build up during the show?
The show ends with "continued next episode" and then in the "coming up this season" clips they show one of the two competitors, who is in the Inferno, in later episodes. Why couldn't they just edit the clips so we didn't see that person and we would still be wondering who was going to win? They have done this on past challenges and you would think they would learn from their mistakes but it keeps happening.

MTV is an asshole for inviting Abe after (if it was after) he punched Adam on Road Rules and they are an asshole if they invite CT back to anything.
On the show last night, CT was incredibly worthless and deluded. That "kid" is a fuckin moron.

Hmm, bring in violent, egotistical thugs and supply them with an endless amount of alcohol and see what happens. Geez, I wish Craig Bellamy and his five iron would get a hold of CT. That guy needs some (more?) jail time.

So Abe hadn't punched out anyone ... for the second time.

Bob, do what I do (if you're watching taped eps. on DVR) and stop the ep. the moment the "To be continued..." card flashes on the screen.
Anyway, between CT being, well, CT, and Alton being a stand up guy by taking the dude with the black eye's place in the Inferno, that was a fantastic ep. Never thought I'd say this about ANYTHING airing on MTV, but the last few minutes of the show were pretty damn riveting.

During the ladder climbing challenge I kept waiting for someone to yell "Don't you do shit like this in the army?" as she slooooowly made her way up the tower.

I wonder if Davis said something to CT? I mean, come on, that dude got himself in a lot of shit on the Real World Denver. Still is.
And how is it that the crew didn't catch that happening? Since when do they miss something?

Don't know how smart it was for Alton to take Davis' place though. Tyrie is big boy, and in a Wrestling/physical type challenge he could send Alton home.

It's a pretty genius scam on his part.

I'm sure CT Would have no problem doing Karaoke, and unlike Riise drinks like a fish!

I have a serious problem with "casting" participants in these challenges when their seasons have not even finished their first run on MTV. "Denver" cast members should not be in this challenge.
My guess is they had to do this because so many "alums" told them to take a hike.
One positive is that we dont have Beth, Veronica, and/or Tina.

Some of you guys get pretty riled up about this. If anything about this show "pisses you off," (other than the possible exception noted above of MTV's idiotic plot spoiling), then you need to reevaluate why you're watching it.

Wow they still make these? I have not seen a Road Rules in years. I remember they use be really cool Amazing Race like going all over world doing challenges with teamwork. Then they turned into fear factor eating cow penises in blender crap and staged fights. I guess there is no chance they reverted back to former?
