Anyone pick up Paper Mario Wii?

Thoughts? Should I buy it?

Mine arrives to EB Games this afternoon. The reviews look good. I was a big fan of the earlier ones.

On order. Not sure when it'll show up on my doorstep. From the reviews, I'm already dreading the opening part of the game... 20 minutes of text bubbles...

Dying to play it, but holding off.

Not much time for games lately with Ph D comp coming up in June and getting addicted to 24 on DVD (had never watched any of it before).

I'll pick it up when I clear my small back log (RE4 and Shadow of the Collossus), but that might not be until June or July.

Looks cool from some of the reviews I've read. I'll snag this at Wally World soon hopefully!

I picked it up over my lunch break and I'm counting down the hours until I can go home and play.

Definitely planning to pick it up sometime this week. Not sure when I'll actually be able to play it so i guess the gf will have first crack at it.

I'm tempted to upgrade to a Wii almost for that 1 game (well not quite) but I loved the earlier games, especially TTYD.

Going to pick it up on the way home and was looking forward to getting into it tonight, but I just got my new laptop at work and I have just a few days to make sure I get everything migrated over before they take the old one back.

Although I am feeling a bit "under the weather" so maybe I'll just make an excuse to stay home tomorrow.

You should update to a Wii because it's an awesome system, not jus for this game.

24 is awesome

Let us know how it is.

Indeed.

At least I'm doing pretty good with just watching an episode or two every night or so after studying for a few hours.

Waiting for my copy from Family Video. Probably will be a while, but my free time is sucked up by some other stuff for now so its all cool if it takes a while to arrive. Just hope I get it before Mario Party 8 hits the stores!

I had a pre-order at Amazon but they didn't show a ship date until 16th-18th. I went to EB Games on my lunch break and bought the only copy they had available. I came back to work and canceled my Amazon order.

I'll be playing this tonight.

I couldn't help but pick this up today. I'm not excited about Mario Galaxy at the moment but I am hoping this game warms me up to it. I have a feeling it will.

I was just about to leave the house to pick this up, but I accidentally left my wallet in my girlfriend's car. All I have on me is $2 in cash, and a $20 gift card to Circuit City. Now I've gotta wait another couple hours until she gets home.

She'll probably hog the game for the next couple of weeks, like she did the GC Paper Mario. Either way, I can't wait to see the game in action.

I'm picking it up after work today, and even though I have no time to play it, I'm afraid the game is still going to make me it's bitch. Bye bye sleep...

I picked it up today using Gamestop's current trade any 2 used Wii games for 1 new one offer. Unfortunately, I have 3 games ahead of it that have to be finished, so it'll be a while until I can spend some time with it.

I just picked my copy up. I was surprised that the pre-orders were all sold out, I thought this game was kind of flying under the radar. Can't wait to start playing though, it looks like a lot of fun.

Not really. You can watch a whole season in less than a day.

So did Circuit City get it in today? Anyone near one that didn't and got the free $20 gift card?
