Just to sate my morbid curiosity, does anyone have a list of all titles released for the deceased William Shatner DVD club?

Apparently you had to be a paying member to view the list.

What happened to the club? When did it close?

According to Wikipedia, FullTurn dissolved the club because "his partners cannot continue to provide these movies at the current low prices."
Citation is needed on that particular quote so take it with a grain of salt.

I think it's fair to say with most places that stop selling a product, it wasn't profitable.

I can't believe DVD Talk promoted this scam.

First of all, it wasn't a scam, they sent some good movies (which were also in my list).

Second, no two people got the exact same list of releases.

I received:

Ginger Snaps
Wolves of Wall Street
Immortel
Close Your Eyes
Crazy As Hell
Black Cadillac
King of the Ants
The Attic Expeditions
Falcon Down
it2i2
Soulkeeper
Freeze Frame
Thomas In Love
The Lathe of Heaven

Other people had combination of some of the movies from this list and some of these:

Epoch
Dragon Storm
Dragon Fighter
The Irrefuatble Truth About Demons

This is data from 3 people, I don't know about other movies.

The few of those movies that I've seen were decent flicks.

It just didn't seem worth it to me to get an extra subscription to something, when I really wasn't sure what I would get.

Sure, why not? He answered a question that was posed. That's a great reason to join.

Welcome Moveprince, glad to have you with us.

That is the same reason I couldn't see myself joining the Shat Nerd VD Club.

Thank you very much! That's interesting that no one got the same releases, I thought it was a set list. Either way, I regret not joining up when it was still around. Looks like a pretty eclectic and fairly obscure selection.

"I can't believe DVD Talk promoted this scam."

I'll second that opinion.
