At my local BJs wholesale club they've got the original Coldheat soldering iron (http://www.coldheat.com/classic.cfm) for $8.50 with a $5 rebate (prints out with your receipt and can be done online in the same way as Staples easy rebates). I originally got it a few weeks ago for $13.50 with the $5 rebate, but I had to rebuy it now so that I can return the other one for a refund.

This is NOT even worth the $3 or so. Avoid this if you want to actually solder anything. It is pure junk and doesn't even work. Pick up a cheap iron at Radio Shack or, if you want cordless, go for a butane unit. (The rechargeable ones are much less useful; butane models last as long as you need them to!)

I can confirm drmoze's view. I bought one of these at Radio Shack, and it is just terrible.
