You Know you are a Dvd Addict When......

You Know you are a Dvd Addict When You......

1. Have no problem double or triple dipping on that dvd that you have no intention of watching just like the other times you bought it.

2. Check in on dvd talk bargain section every 15 minutes so not to miss out on that once in a lifetime get 5 dvds free price error bargain.

3. Never have time to actually watch your growing dvd collection as you have accounts to Netflix,Blockbuster,GreenCine and receive over 50 dvds a month to watch.

4. Had to buy a bigger house to accomodate your enormous dvd collection.

5. Constantly worry that your collection needs to be organized more efficiently by Studio,Genre,Director..

6. Would rather be punched in the face then watch a full screen presentation of your favorite dvd movie.

7. Will buy "any crappy movie" if it a 3 disc limited collector edition.

8. Every Tuesday is your Holy Day to acquire the Retailer exclusive releases.

I am sure there are other ways to know you're an Dvd addict like?

Definately guilty of these.

Also, sometimes I won't eat out, thinking "Would I rather put this money toward a DVD or food?" DVD usually wins out and I'll hit the Wal-Mart $5.50 bin or go online to order something.

Spend over 10 minutes comparing different releases for a movie.

You look at something in real life that's encased in bright light giving it a slight shine around it, and wonder if it's edge enhancement.

You neatly stack every dvd in the dump bin, so that you can look at every dvd in there.

You come upon the Walmart dump bin and see that someone has stacked them up neatly for you and you look through them. Then you mix them up like they should be.

Guilt as charge yer honor!

You buy a DVD and watch it, then sell it then buy it again later.

When you use the words foolscreen and wisescreen and speak of educating the masses.

When you have dozens, or hundreds, of unwatched dvds...yet you keep buying more.

When your coworkers look at you like you're nuts during one of your lengthy, unbidden AOR/Anamophic Widescreen lectures.

You buy a DVD on impulse only to get it home and see that you bought it sometime earlier on impulse and it still sits there unopened. Well...now back to return it at the store...maybe there's something I forgot to buy.

You look at hundreds (or thousands) of DVDs on your shelves, and decide you don't have anything to watch. You then head out to the nearest store to find something.
