Question about Curse of the Golden Flower R3 collector's set

Did anyone else order this? It comes w/ a game (in fact the box is the game board) that I assume is featured in the movie. I haven't seen the movie yet so maybe this is answered in there, but there are no directions to the game. The setup looks like it might just be chess but does anyone know for sure?

TIA

No, it's Chinese chess, which is quite a bit different. I learned how to play by playing Battle Chess II: Chinese Chess on my computer, but that was so long ago, I've forgotten pretty much everything.

I can't decide which to get.
The Taiwan LE comes with a notepad and bandana. Seems to be also wrapped in a gold foil cover

I got mine from YesAsia. Thanks for the links. Funny thing is I must have spent 30 min scratching my head looking at the pieces/figurines and trying to match them to "regular" chess to no avail.

Just be noted that the actual chess pieces are made of cardboard that you must "punch out" of a sheet and not actual solid pieces. Actually I read that from theimportforum.com, so just a fyi if the chess game was a big reason for the purchase

Yep... some wood or even cheap plastic pieces would have been nicer
