About time they had a "real" werewolf episode (instead of just changelings, aka the source of werewolf lore according to the show's mythology).

The girl was definitely hot, but overall a bit of a disappointing episode IMO.

And - DAMN! - a month layover until the next new episode! That sucks!

I am starting to worry that the executives of the CW don't even know how to run their own network. The next episode of SN is April 19, but it gets better we now have to wait until May 2nd for the return of OTH. All because of the damn Pussycat Dolls show.

a bit OT but does anyone else get audio dropouts on the HD feed of this(or any other CW show for that matter) using Comcast in Detroit? I record this, GG and VM and get dropouts on all 3.

I used to get them a few times during an episode, but don't get them as much anymore. They're annoying, but the video quality pretty much makes up for it.

Was this the first ep. of the second season to not start with the "Then, Now" openning?

I liked the appropriate Dante and Landis reference.

I think it was the first episode without a recap of any kind to start off the show. Not sure why - maybe because nothing in the episode really referenced earlier events.

Really? Seems to me they're saving their remaining episodes for May sweeps. Sound pretty rational to me.

Plus I'm happy because I will have my weekday evenings free again by then so I can watch this and Veronica Mars live on HD!

I thought this was an interesting episode. So did the guys just automatically assume the religious neighbor "sired" her? Couldn't it have been the opposite? Just trying to figure out if the genuinely debunked the "kill the parent" werewolf theory.

That would explain why Dean is stumpy and bow-legged while Sammy - well - ISN'T.

Everyone here should go to eonline and vote in Kristin's SAVE ONE SHOW poll. Supernatural could really use the votes!!! It is competing with Veronica and Gilmore, but I think both of those shows have slipped considerably while Supernatural is still kicking ass... I need a third season!

There's no way the CW is going to cancel all three of these. That would leave what? Smallville and One Tree Hill? That's a lot of real estate to cover from scratch!

Most likely Gilmore Girls will not return due to contract disputes. I have never heard of anyone complaining about Thursday night ratings for this show - considering the limited viewership of the available media outlets the network has, it seems to be doing quite well in my opinion.

I've posted before that if it came down to it Supernatural is the one CW show on the brink I would pick to continue. It's been very consistent and seems to actually be going some where.

This was another good episode. It seemed longer than normal, but without dragging. I wasn't keeping an eye on the clock and I though there would just be a goodbye scene after the sex, so the ending caught me by surprise.

I was a bit surprised that they actually killed Madison. I thought they were setting up the scenario where her former boyfriend (stalker) was in fact the werewolf that bit her, and would need to be killed to save her (instead of her weird neighbor).

Why bother have the boyfriend pop up at all? Red Herring?

Thos.

Total Red Herring. That way it makes the audience more sympathic to her before her secret is revealed and then that makes her ultimate fate more affecting.
