DVD Talk review of 'Show Me'
I read Bill Gibron's DVD review of Show Me at http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=21240 and...
Come on! This movie wasn't that bad. And to insult any reader who may have enjoyed it is going too far. Why should I be made to feel foolish for liking a movie that you didn't like? Go ahead and hate it, point out it flaws, whatever, but don't tell me I've been fooled by the filmmaker if I choose to like it. I watched this movie for Katharine Isabelle, and she was fine in it, as always. I stayed up way too late to see it right through, which is more than I can say for a lot of movies.
If you like independant films, or Canadian films with some lesser known actors, don't be scared to give it a try.
Maybe I say this because I purchased it for $5 as a pre-viewed disc at BB, but I still say it is not as bad as Bill lets on.
