Amazon return question
Hi all, i'm pretty sure this question has been answered before, but i couldn't find the answer and i don't wanna scroll pages of "Amazon sucks" posts...
Anyhow, i'm returning some items in an Amazon order (first time returning in years of ordering from them). My order total is $90 something, i'm only keeping one item, which is $14.99. My question is, will Amazon charge me the original shipping? Since i'm returning most items (unopened, just that i can get it cheaper used) which will not qualify me for free budget shipping in the beginning...
I'm pretty sure Amazon won't charge you the initial shipping fee when you're returning some of the items. However, if they don't do something, isn't this a loop hole in the system that people can take advantage of?

That's not quite true either, b/c i just printed out the return label from the amazon item return page... I used clear tape and taped the label on the amazon box and dropped off at the UPS store. So far, i haven't paid a penny...

If the return is deemed their fault (wrong item, item damaged during shipping etc), you will be credited in full for the value of the product returned upon receipt + shipping. If the return is your fault (no longer want the item), you'll be credit the value of the product minus the shipping costs.
If you used FREE SHIPPING, then they'll charge you what they would have charged you for shipping.
This has been my experience. (I found the item cheaper at a local store and returned the item that I no longer wanted).

Ahhh! thanks for replying... oh well, base on this experience, i'm not gonna return amazon orders anymore, damn, i should just resell the items (probably break even).
I don't know the result yet, worse case is i pay the return shipping and the initial shipping, which could be around $12, still not too bad for my mistake (got the stuffs cheaper else where).
