Synopsis: House encounters a brain-damaged musical prodigy with inexplicable abilities while the team faces serious concerns about House's own health.

This is driving me nuts, what song/artist was the last song played?

Pretty good episode. Would have preferred a bigger role for Dave though.

I thought it was a great episode. I was a little disappointed they didnt give House cancer. Thought it could make for some interesting episodes. The things they come up with for him that they have him do are unbelieveable.

The Luke N. Laura name was hysterical.
"If you need a sperm sample come back without the needle"

One of the best shows on TV.

Predictable but appropriate, the entire episode showed how much everyone cared about House and it ended with him showing absolutely no remorse toward being himself. It was fitting.

Enjoyable ep.

I about died when I pretty much figured that House didn't have cancer, but went for the Cuddy ass-grab anyway. All the hugging was great, too.

Dont know for sure, gotta go back and replay it, but I would be hoping (expecting) it to be Dave Matthews...

Edit: went back and replayed it and googled the lyrics..its NOT Dave Matthews!

It's called "See the World" and its by Gomez

So would anyone like to tell me what House was diagnosed with?

"Call the Make-A-Wish Foundation."

Doesn't take much to make Dave Matthews look dopey, does it? Really enjoyed this one!!

I was impressed with Dave Matthews in this episode. I thought he did a really good job. Good ep overall.

"This guy's a moron"

I figured he didn't have cancer once they said he only had a year to live.

I hate this schedule.

Excellent casting in this ep. Always nice to see Kurtwood Smith working and Dave Matthews played his role very well.

Lots of hilarious lines in the ep as well, possibly my favorite of the season.

His facial expressions when he figured out what she was doing were hilarious, especially the eyebrow lift.

Enjoyable episode. Although IMO, it was pretty damn obvious from the beginning that House did NOT have cancer, you just didn't know why it appeared he did. I was expecting some better explanation than "I was just fooling them so they can inject drugs into my brain that are fun". Lots of great lines, but was a little let down by the revalation of what was really going on.

Great episode. When I saw Dave Matthews as the guest star, I assumed he would be suffering from a rare brain disorder which caused him to act out by performing long, trustafarian jams with lock-jawed lyrics.

"One small feel for man, One giant ass for mankind!"

It took me a few minutes to realize that the dad was played by Kurtwood "Dumbass" Smith. It always nice to see him playing roles other than the one he's most famous for.

Dave Matthews was great also. I liked how they kept the actors and their hands in frame when playing the piano to lend more believability to them being able to play the complex pieces.

LOVED this episode. Probably one of the best from this season, and that is saying a lot. This whole season has been top notch.

Great episode. I'm pleasantly surprised they didn't try to milk this 'House has cancer' storyline over several episodes. When they first got into it I was thinking "Here's the cliche House in peril story arc for the second half of the season". Thumbs up to the show's makers for taking a different route.

I didnt even recognize Kurtwood Smith. In fact I had an argument with my husband when he told me it was "Red". You dont know how hard it is going to be to admit to him he was right! I'm usually the actor/actress savant around here. But I have to admit I heard his "Red" voice towards the end of the show.

Only Fox could do such things. Hopefully they won't kill this show like so many others. Are they trying to get the ratings down?

What I learned from this episode: You can pretty much get away with murder if people think you are terminally ill.

I really wanted a Cuddy reaction shot in House presences when she found out that House was faking his terminal illness.

The ass grab put a grin on my face and her make a wish response to him following her to the bedroom was gold.

That's it! I knew I owned the CD with that song, but I just couldn't remember.

FYI, Gomez is on Dave Matthew's record label ATO Records.
