Heat 2 disc SE now OOP??
DVDaficionado now lists Heat SE OOP, and Amazon.com is no longer selling it.
This seems like a weird title to discontinue. Anyone know of a reason why?
Also a heads up, this title is on sale at Best Buy for $9.99 'til Sunday and is also a part of the BOGO free sale on certain SE titles.
I guess get it while you can.

I just bought it this last week for 9 + free ticket to 300. I watched it last night and the video quality doesnt seem to be very top notch so hopefully they will be remastering it. Such a great film doesnt deserve such a iffy transfer.

My thought process is that a lot of the WB 2-Disc Special Editions are/were released under 2 different UPC's according to Michael's Movie Mayhem with one of them listed as 'Limited Edition' and being discontinued (I have no idea what limited edition would mean unless it has something to do with a slipcover). The other UPC listed for them is still in print.
012569705814 (In print) http://dvdlist.kazart.com/queryDVDList2.php3?id=62638 & http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0008FXST2 (wrong cover art which seems to happen more frequently at Amazon)
085392891924 (OOP) http://dvdlist.kazart.com/queryDVDList2.php3?id=54889 & http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0006J28KU/ (again, wrong cover is shown but the UPC's match for both linked)

Searching Michael's Movie Mayhem database for other 2 disc WB SE's yield the same situations.

I'm glad I picked it up a while ago. It's a great movie and I'd hate to have to settle for the one-disc.
Actually, when I picked it up, Blockbuster had it priced incorrectly. I got that and Panic Room (Superbit,) for 2/$16 (Canadian.) Such a great deal.
