on your ipod you have songs by both Cannibal Corpse and Hilary Duff
you get looks blasting so called "girly" music in your car from on lookers (while singing along.

what's a "man" card?

Does anyone blast anything but Madonna in the car?

Bands like Arcade Fire and Belle & Sebastian, which I'm guilty of....

But if you listen to stuff like Madonna, you probably never had a man-card to begin with.

"Man cards" are only for those who think in terms of men shouldnt cry and junk like that.

I am comfortable listening to Green Day, The Stones, Black Keys, etc as popping in my Liza Minelli in concert dvds. Cuz thats how I roll.

If they're spotted in my collection proudly next to my Cyndi Lauper dvds (cuz again, I aint insecure and dont hide my shit when dudes come over) and a comment is made, I tell em to blow me, shut the fuck up or get out.

A woman hasnt made any comment yet but again, I dont care - if it would ever kill a deal of me getting laid, meh, I got two hands to jerk off with - cuz thats how I roll

If you looked in my car right now you'd see some "violations":

Slayer
Iron Maiden
Eryka Baduh*
Bjork*
RUSH
HIM*
Portishead*
Judas Priest**

* Man card violations
** Not a true MC violation but since the lead singer is openly Gay some might say it is. ;)

What about if ya watch it waiting to see the sweet crotch shots on the chicks?

Same reason why I watch girls gymnastics. One hand wrapped around a beer, another thrust solidly down my pants

:shudders: yeah.

Am I the only one who thinks of Christian Cage with the line "and thats how i roll?"

Also, reading the link to "man card violations"
"Men who watch figure skating, or other women's TV programming."
Does that include Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars?

I think you're missing the point, my sweet scrapping, "Defender of Hte Gay" :p , "man card violations" go way beyond gay and go straight to "female". That's female as in, "Boobs and Vajeenas".

I did but I didn't just assume it was a swipe at anything Gay just because "male figure skating" and "straight" was mentioned in the same post. I mean...why would I do that?

This "man card" shit is way out of hand. I never tell people of either gender to blow me, but I love Cyndi Lauper.
As well as traditional "I'm a eunuch for being a fan" artists such as Suzanne Vega, Rasputina, Portishead, Bjork and emo shit like the Eels. I also really like Skinny Puppy, Tool and Laibach. Does that make me gender confused?
In my view, if you absolutely suppress anything of a feminine nature from your field of enjoyment, I don't think that makes you manly. I think it paints you as psychotic and repressive and someone to steer clear of.

WAIT!!! I found the relevance. -eek-

"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a man card on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the man card, which is the name of the macho-male or the number of his cel. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the he-man, for it is man's number. His number is 666 (Leave a message)" (Rev. 13:16-18).
