This game has been in development for SIX years. I believe it was originally supposed to compete with Half-Life 2, which came out three years ago. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. has been delayed and even completely vanished so many times, that it has won several "vaporware" awards. Probably the only more infamous game to win so many vaporware awards is Duke Nukem Forever. Maybe the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. will give renewed hope for Duke Nukem Forever? -pray-
