GHOST RECON ADVANCED WARFIGHTER 2: Xbox 360

Golden Recon Advanced Warfighter 2

The tactical shooter is on its way to the assembly line.

Today, Ubisoft proudly proclaimed that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 has officially reached gold status. Development on the hotly anticipated sequel to last year's game has been finalized, and the game has now entered production in order to meet its ship date of Thursday, March 8.

Ubisoft also announced an in-game Achievements tracking menu for every single multiplayer achievement. This is a pleasant little addition, which makes it easy to find out just how much more work you will need to put in to unlock the next achievement. GRAW 2 accurately measures your progress towards each of the individual Multiplayer Achievements

I hope more games that have achievements for getting x number of kills in a multiplayer match implement similar systems. It would be nice to know how close you are and not just guess. Especially for games like Gears, I think, that each one is for 500 with each weapon.

I'm looking forward to GRAW 2, but I'm not looking forward to juggling the GRAW vs. Rainbow 6 control schemes in my head as I switch between the games.

I'll probably wind up selling my Rainbow 6 pretty soon. I can't imagine me playing it that much when I get GRAW 2

I know what you mean. I LOVE the multiplayer in Vegas. The expansion is suppose to be coming out right at the same time as the GRAW2 release. I'm so torn...

I would feel the same, but 8 player co-op on line wins out.

Amazon has it for pre-order for $54.99 so I ordered from there. Since I have free shipping and won't pay tax, it actually saves me about $10 from grabbing it in the store.

Anyone play this yet? I heard the graphics are supposed to be much better, so hopefully the choppiness is gone? How's the AI this time around?

I cancelled my pre-order once I got to thinking about the fact that I still have quite a bit of Rainbow Six left to play. I'm trying to hold off buying GRAW 2 until I finish Vegas.

GRAW has been my fave game on the 360 so far. I have $15 in RZ certs burning a hole in my wallet. I was fully prepared to stop at Best Buy on the way home from work today to pick it up...

Then I got some BB coupies in the mail that I can use to get 10% off.

They're not good until Friday!!!!

So - I have to wait until Friday to pick it up. They had better have some in stock.

You could always pricematch Circuit City and save more than 10%, they have this week for $49.99.

True - but they won't take my $15 in RZ certs. Truth be told, I don't really have time to play until next week, anyway.

Will BB price match? I've never tried that. If so, that would be awesome, I could still use my RZ certs.

I was on the fence about this title... while I enjoyed the first game, it dropped in price really quickly. But Fry's, after a long drought of good sale prices, has hooked me yet again.

They do...when you purchase, they will PM (same price) at register, but if you buy first and then go immediately to customer service you can PM and get 110%.

According to Circuit City's website, they will have it tomorrow and the price should be $49.99.

RZ certs are just like cash.

you can use them with a pricematch

they might complain if you have multiple certs and only one item. BB tends to stick to their rule of one cert per item that you are buying.
