L.A. Confidential - Special Edition?
I recently purchased the single disc of this movie, but I've yet to open it. A friend told me that he thought he'd read about a two-disc "Special Edition," on these boards.

Has there been any mention of one?

Yes, at the Warner chat yesterday. It is getting a SE treatment this year and will be also be released as a HD DVD.
