300 movie cash question

Does anybody know which theaters are participating in the 300 Best Buy promotion? The ticket gives you a website to go to, but when I type in the promo code, that code doesn't work. Has anybody else tried this?

Can you give alittle more detail as to the deal?

I'm sure this will work almost anywhere.

Usuall, hey have a sheet of all the particpating theatres, but since I believe 300 is rolling out on 3300+ theatres, you're pretty much safe anywhere.

Does it say "not valid at IMAX theaters"? My friend is worried about that, since she plans on seeing 300 at an IMAX theater... She realizes she'll need to pay the difference (since it is $15)

I'm having the same problem with "The Number 23" movie money, also from Best Buy.
Nothing comes up for 100 miles.

I just typed in my zip code, left the promo code field blank and it gave me a list of local theaters that accept the tickets...

I have a question on how to get them from best buy....

I bought 6 movies in the BOGO sale and they didnt have any 300 tickets in. They told me the tickets are for only when you buy Alexander revisited, however I BELIEVE it says on the website as well as in Speedy's thread that it is for ANY dvd. Can someone help me out on how I can go about getting the movie ticket tomorrow when they get them in using my receipt?

Welcome to the forum.

Show them the sales flyer and be polite, but firm. On page 22 of the flyer, it clearly states that you get a DVD trailer for 300 plus movie cash instantly, when you buy a DVD.

mpj31, the tickets themselves are not in any dvd case, you have to find the 300 preview disc which is in its own separate slimline case...good luck!

I actually did have them pull a flyer. I guess with their ear pieces they were saying stuff I couldn't hear but it sounded like they had no idea. Since it was on the new release page I guess they figured it only started tomorrow. I'll definitely be going back with my receipt tommorow, with a print out of the online advertisement. I want to see if they get goodfellas in before this sale is over anyway. Thanks for the picture though I'll make sure to look. I really want to see this movie, but don't enjoy spending 8.50 when I can buy it later on for at least 6.66 at blockbuster and keep it.

Also just to let you know as many people I've been coming to this site for about a year now, if not more, just never signed up. Big thanks to speedy for the ads every week.

By the way I meant that the best buy didn't have any of those 300 dvds in stock yet. I knew they werent going to be inside the dvds themselves, although that would be nice. I was there Sunday night and this morning and looked all around for goodfellas so I know the store by heart. For some reason my best buy doesn't want to display them until tomorrow.

Could you/someone post the link here so others can find out if there's a nearby theatre they can use it at?

The promo code on the tickets doesn't seem to work yet, but you can still enter in your zip code.

I can't get that link to kick out any theatres for the "Number 23" ticket cash that Best Buy gave out a couple of weeks ago. What gives!?!

Just enter your zip code. It should give a list that accepts Hollywood movie money

It looks like it's gonna work at Douglas Theaters, but not AMC, if that helps.

considering that it appears a few people are going to BB and buying every single available possible copy, this may all become moot :P

Is there not a list somewhere on the ticket of at least the umbrella companies like Carmike, Regal, etc?

So, I shouldn't just assume it's good anywhere and everywhere, like they claim it is on the ticket, save for a few mom-n-pop theaters that might scoff at this deal?

Here's a pic of the ticket:

Hmmm...they have changed it a bit. I think I've used one of those before...I dunno what to go on at all.

Promo code, if tied to the movie, probably naturally pulls nothing up...since the film isn't showing yet.

The code you have entered (31752) is not a valid Hollywood Movie Money promo code. Click here to search again.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the discs were supposed to come out on Tuesday.

According to the Best Buy website, the 300 promo disc has a release date of 2/27.
