Question regarding Crackdown/Halo 3 beta
I have no desire at all to spend $60 on this game. However, I've got it on the way as we speak from Gamefly. So, my question is...
For the Halo 3 beta, does the disc itself unlock the beta? Or is it a code included in the insert? Theoretically, I'd like to just keep ahold of the rented copy until the beta comes out.

The Crackdown disc allows you to download/play the beta (when available). Bungie says the beta will be available 'spring 07' for an unknown length of time, but you will have to have the Crackdown disc to download it, and play it.
