Recent eBay Hauls

I know it's against forum rules to post links to curent personal auctions. This thread is a information/bragging thread to showcase eBay or other auction site sales. last saturday I had 11 auctions end:

Munich 2 disc LE $67.89
A History of Britain $31.00
Lawrence of Arabia LE $9.00

Unbearable Lightness of being CC $30.77
Robocop CC $45.77
Heathers Tin $7.50
Hellraiser Tin $35.99

Dances with Wolves 2 disc DTS $10.50
Evolution Box Set $47.00

Behind the Scenes at Walt Disney Tin $42.00
Silly Symphonies Tin $103.61

all in all a good take. I made an error on the Heathers dvd and forgot to put Tin in the title. That probably cost me $10 or so. The Munich is quite a surprise. I was expecting about $25. That takes care of the wave 1 tins I bought. 3 of them for $75 plus tax got me $245. I should have bought everyone I could have at the time 200% return in 6 years or so!?

Selling off your Heathers and Hellraiser tins?! = I don't really care how much money you made, I would never have done the same

Im getting tired of having so many movies I don't even watch. I've outgrown my collector phase. Plus, I want to rid myself of SD dvds before HD or BR takes over. I'd like to narrow my collection to 50(450 at the peak) but that may take another year or so.

Damn, wish I would have seen your Heather's tin auction that only got $7.50

Anyways, I got $20 for my double-feature Revenge of the Nerds dvd, not a bite for my Porky's one though.

I thought bragging was against rules as well.

Maybe we could have one combined bragging thread?

It is nice to see what people are getting for their DVDs, and a reminder to put some of mine up.

dvds are not selling like they did 5 years ago. you can still get good money for them but the days of criterions holding really high prices are long gone.

my sale of the weekend was ken branagh's hamlet on video which i paid 50p for and sold at a quick buy it now for 8.99

I'd like to see a thread about cool stuff people bought on eBay, not how much cash collectors are raking in because two people with lots of money got into a bidding war.

My luck in that area hasn't been good (to say the least), but once I start buying on eBay again, perhaps I'll start posting my experiences. When I do buy on eBay, it's usually not DVDs, though... well, not ones I could talk about in the forum, anyway. (And no, I'm not referring to porn.)
