My first easy guess of course would be Babel. Though it may not be popular here on the board, I was hoping that Waist Deep would get double dipped but not sure it would.

Casino Royale will almost certainly get a double dip, even though it hasn't even been released yet. After reading the press release and seeing how paltry the special features are, I think we will see a new DVD when the next Bond film is released in theatres.

Some on here have said The Departed is destined for a double-dip, on account of the fact there is no commentary track from Scorsese, and it seemed rushed out just ahead of the Oscars.

Pretty much anything released by Sony will be double dipped if/when a sequel comes out. Example: Spider-Man 2.5, designed to coincide with the release of SM 3.

I agree that I foresee Casino Royale as a double dip which is one reason that I may rent first and buy later. Unless a steelbook edition comes out of course similar to the Departed. I'm guessing that those of us that bought a steelbook version of Departed would still not give that up if we get double dipped again on that title.

Flags of Our Fathers has "rental disc" practically written all over it. Zero extras, not even the trailer. I'm guessing a big ass box set with Letters from Iwo Jima.

As I've found out over the past couple years, anything and everything can or will be double dipped in the future. Nothing surprises me anymore.

The Departed ( i bought the 2 disc edition but i bet they will release it 5 more times)
Babel (bad movie but they will re-release it till death)
Borat (im not a fan of the movie but the release looks rushed)
& every 1 disc edition that theres 90 billion copies of at the store.

Kill Bill is an obvious double dip candidate too. I'm actually a bit surprised it hasn't already been done. Not only do they have minimal extras, but it's two movies, it seems obvious to at least double dip them into one package.

didn't x3 get a 2-disc edition?
look out for fantastic 4. it was downgraded. they changed the cover art. there is no longer a DTS track on it, or many of the original extras

Don't forget Dirty Dancing! In fact, I read that Lionsgate is indeed releasing a 20th anniversary edition in March. I think this is a triple or quadruple dip for this movie.

jeepers...dirty dancing...AGAIN!? Is that movie really worth the quadruple dip? I guess there's enuff suckers to buy this. At the rate it's going, almost EVERY movie is being double dipped cuz studios know people will buy.

X-Men: The Last Stand is an easy call since a 2-disc set was released outside of the US.
The Da Vinca Code had an extended edition outside of America as well. So I'd expect to see that around the time Angels & Demons comes out. Maybe with Ron Howard commentary.
Casino Royale looks likely. The upcoming disc looks pretty weak in terms of extras. It'll also be the first Bond movie without a commentary!
Warner titles are a bit hard to tell. Certainly their newer releases have been lacking commentaries, but the studio rarely double dips unless it's warranted or it's a new celebratory box set like the Superman Ultimate Collector's Edition and the Matrix set.
