48hrs or Sharky's Machine SE's ever??

Been waiting for these for a loooongg time now. I'm getting the feeling they are not coming. Heck, just anamorphic widescreen transfers would keep me happy for awhile! Any news on these releases being updated?

I thought the current 48hrs was anamorphic, but I know it's such an old one, I never bought it anyway. Been waiting for an SE too.

Paramount release a SE of 48hrs???, please see the latest Summer School "life's a beach" SE. It's not impossible or out of the question, but Paramount has a strange home video marketing dept. for sure. Not a rank on Summer School, but a SE of 48hrs would have been a HUGE SE announcement!
