wow this stinks...I just ordered the Monty Python set two weeks ago from DDD for $59.95. I haven't even opened it yet! Anybody that that there is a chance DDD would give me a $13 return if I told them the situation and "threatened" to return it??? It seems unlikely because the OP said the discount is applied at checkout and not in cart.

Why did you order the Adventure Continues DVD set? Those are included in the Collector's Edition Set.

I just sent DDD an email about the sale to try to get a Price Match on my Monty Python set that I ordered 2 weeks ago. I explained to them that the sale price only shows up at checkout. I hope they give me my $12.01!!!

Actually, I got the same e-mail, but from the History Channel. (Yes, I know, they're basically one and the same, but since I'm on both their mailing lists, I'm intrigued to know why I only received it for one and not the other).

I got the same email. I also got the email from them a couple of weeks ago with the $25 GC in and haven't had any luck using it online because it doesn't recognise the code. I sent them an email to see there was anyway to use it online and combine it with the 20% sale. I much prefer that way then ordering on the phone, but if that's what I have to, then thats ok.

Oh, I got TWO copies of that email -- one of which was specific to the History channel store -- I just thought it was interesting that the OP essentially opened a "here's a deal" thread, even going so far as to provide a link, when it really was more akin to an "I got a deal" thread.

Yeah, my giftcard doesn't work online also. What's going on? Tried to call them today and got message they are not in due to the snowstorm in the northeast
