Is there any way to tell a canadian/forgien production...

In other words, when the movie was shot in canada or another country but is supposed to pass off as a place in the US.
I was listening to the Running Scared commentary and the director said that they actually shot the movie in prauge, and not in Jersey. When watching it closely you can tell that he was real carefull not to show european landmarks.
The only way i can tell like a canadian production is when a few canadian accents slip in, when they're supposed to be americans.

The IMDB has a link for Filming Locations usually on the page for the movie.

Yep, definitely. I'm often curious as to where a movie was filmed and the end credits will answer the question.

if a movie is based in chicago theres a %70 chance that it was filmed in my hometown of Winnipeg.
apparently the peg looks alot like Chic town, i don't see how it does but the directors think it does.

here is an interesting one -- my friend and i were agruing over billy madison...he thought that even though they never said where it was located that it was florida...i guessed somewhere in new england....

guess where they shot it....

ONTARIO! hahah...at least i was closer.
