The Reaping - Hilary Swank film from Dark Castle
This film is now slated to come out on April 6th, 2007. Trailer looks interesting, I like the premise.

Apparently Phillip Glass scored the film, but that is being dumped and is being replaced with a score by John Frizzell.

Just saw a preview at the theatres, and it was the first time that I have heard of this film. Didn't seem very interesting. She has taken some crap roles likely though.

I used to like the Dark Castle flicks - they weren't great, but they had their place as disposable entertainment which played quite well in the Halloween time frame.
But Gothika and The House of Wax were both crap. HoW came out in early May, you know, when everyone's in the mood for a scary movie.

the move looked sort of intesting but i find Hilary Swank extremly annoying and exept for 'the core' which was a fun movie she has mad some junk-'freedom writers?'-nothing like an MTV production to raise your career.

Exactly how dumb is Warner to open this against a Tarantino/Rodriguez horror movie? Two R-Rated horror movies in one weekend is certainly a rarity nowadays, but I'm pretty sure the one with an A-list cast (Bruce Willis, Kurt Russell) and A-list directors will win this easily.

House of Wax was pretty good i thought. but I was looking forward to this when I seen the trailer last summer but now I dont really have any interest in it any more. Looking forward to seeing GrindHouse instead
