That was a really good Forman episode. I don't think he's been the focus of an episode this season. Probably the most House like we've seen him.

Where else is that woman doctor in the wheelchair from. It was driving me nuts.

Well, I just went through her whole bio and she was the mom on Oliver Beene . I completely forgot about that show.

This is the first time I can say I didn't really enjoy this episode too much. Not sure what it was but I didn't think it was that good.

Yeah, I thought that part was odd.

Can they just go through them like sausage links, and then just drop them back in and close you up?

Same here. It was flat and too close to formula.

I didn't like how house stayed in the wheelchair to go into the operating room. I think the show trys to portray how house is so stubborn but will go to any lengths to help his patients. I didn't see that tonight. Sure he finally got up off the wheelchair but it took a while.
He also told Cutty he saved a life, which he didn't (he didn't find anything in the body). He just seemed too far out of this episode.

I was waiting for House to go postal on the gypsies and tell them they were idiots and make fun of them etc, but that never happened. Thought the wheelchair/bet plot line was pretty interesting.

Its odd, but I want to see House taken down. The last scene kind of pissed me off. Especially, the smug look on his face.

I liked it better than last week, which I know puts me in the minority.

Better than last week, but still not great.

I hope we have the new doctor more. She's a firecracker.

I thought that the Christina Applegate-ish Girlfriend looked familiar, she was Hanna on Veronica Mars.

It was driving me nuts the whole episode where I knew her from. Not quite as easy on the eyes here as she was on VM, but the harsh hospital lights didn't help any.

Loved House mocking on Wilson in the bathroom and Wilson promising to squeal if House got out of the chair to take a leak.

I too hope we more of the new doc in the future. Looks like she could be a good foil to House.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

"House" (24.9 million, 10.2/24) continued strong with its second-highest adults 18-49 rating ever (last week was its highest demo rating ever). It also ranked as the third-most-watched "House" in its history.

I recognized Hanna right away

Loved the line from the chick in the wheelchair about Cuddy's C cups, and also House's reply to Foreman when he talked about plugging one hole and having to poke the other: "You talking about the patient or how to get a raise from Cuddy?"

Looks like HOUSE is getting a HUGE boost from SAG/Globes wins.

What else explains it? House was behind Idol last year as well.

Me too. But that won't be coming up again as they just wrapped up the story with the Detective and we had the guy from Boston Public last year too. The House always wins. Ba duhmm buhmm.

Even though he's always been an ass, I was still behind him, but he's coming across as more and more unlikeable this season for me.

I loved that the formula was broken, but sorta not for this episode, and House's face-off with Cuddy at the end was great.
