Heroes not on SciFi Friday's anymore?

I went to see if it was playing the Monday night episode on Friday, but it isn't there. It conflicts with 24 so I loved that it was on Friday.
Anyone know what happened to that?

No offense but it's 2007 - You don't have a DVR? hell, even a VCR?

Looks like the Friday rerun on SciFi is done --at least for the month of February.
No explanation that I could find.

I think it's a shame.
I can't imagine that SciFi is getting better ratings with anything else in that timeslot,
And it seems like a win for NBC to give people a chance to catch an episode that they missed (and having a DVR doesn't solve the problem if the cable goes out).

They probably want to make room for SG1 and SGA. However, since they aren't paring those shows with BSG now they might as well use Heroes.

If he doesn't have a DVR but has a satellite or cable box, a VCR wouldn't do any good because you can't watch something else on the box if a VCR is recording. Well, you could, but then you will record all the channel flipping instead of the intended program.

As for the original poster's dilemma, NBC still puts up the full episodes on its Web site. I've had some problems with stuff not loading on there, but it's still a possible alternative.

I noticed that too. They want to force your hand against 24.

Bummer. We watch New Adventures of Old Christine at our house, which conflicts with Heroes, so the Sci-Fi repeat was great - we could TiVo both and watch at our leisure. Now, when Christine comes back, it sounds like I will need to remember to *gasp* watch something when it airs!

When Old Christine comes back, it will be airing an hour earlier, so it won't conflict with Heroes anymore. They're getting The Class' timeslot.

Which by then The Class will be at episode 19... only 5 remaining in the season. Good to know. My programming conflicts are avoided!

for me it was 2 1/2 men and 24 conflicting with heroes. since the wife watches both those and not heroes, i had used the friday rerun to get caught up (only when 2 1/2 men is in rerun, which is every other week do i get heroes on time)
