Your best motivational movies list

Hi guys, I was wondering what your best movies were in terms of motivation?

I'm talking about a movie that would make you want to go out there and run a marathon or start punching on a punching bag, something that makes yoru blood pump. Such as when Rocky is training to become a champion (the music helps a lot)..

I need something to keep me motivated, I do a lot of spinning on my trainer during the winter and watching good movies like that in the same time motivates me to continue and not give up..

A biography of an athlete showing what he went trough and how he "MADE IT" type of movie would be interesting.

Thanks guys! Can't wait to see your list!

The from-the-back crane shot of Eric Liddle overtaking competitors in the 200 after falling in "Chariots of Fire" is the most inspirational sports moment I've seen. the rest of the movie is great as well but that scene gives me goosebumps...

Fight Club

What can I say, showed a bored loser living a mundane life could make something of himself.

Excalibur

The scene where Arthur drinks from the Grail, and announces he will ride with the Knights of the Round Table once more. As soon as "O Fortuna" starts playing as they're riding through the forest and the trees are coming back to life, I just want to pick up a sword and start hacking motherfuckers to pieces. Maybe I should share this with my therapist.

"Guards! Knights! Squires! Prepare for battle!"

The Muppet Movie and, to a lesser extent, The Muppets Take Manhatten. I like Kermit's Can-do attitude.

Searching for Bobby Fischer.

Make me want to play chess. However I'm terrible at playing the game and don't really care much for it. Heck, I suck at Chessmaster on the computer.

Taxi Driver.

When I don't agree with the politics of certain people, it motivates me to go on a psychotic violent rampage.

Baraka

That's more of a de-stressing movie though. It motivates you to re-focus, maybe.

People give me weird looks when I describe American Beauty as an "inspirational" film. It is though, at least for me.

I also dig Baraka. It gets 3-4 spins a year in my theater.
