Another micro-mystery. At least Wendy was cute and easy on the eyes. VM and Logan - it's doomed from his dalliances. Keith gets some more leads on the Dean's death. Lamb seeing Keith in his old sheriff's uniform was a good sight gag.

pretty good ep this time..
I liked how they kept adding in layer after layer about the nerd and the girl he wanted mars to find.. Being at first it really did seem like it was going to be a throw away store line (done in the first 15-20min) so the could spend the rest of the ep on Keith looking to track down info about the Dean..
so all the false ending were just great and pretty much hooked me each time..

I thought it was ok. Max is a moron, the fact that she's a hooker doesn't bother him until Weevil recognizes her from a strip club and he's paid over $10,000 at this point.
I hope Logan yells "We were on a break!" when Veronica confronts him about Madison.

According to zap2it.com, "VM" pulled a 1.8/3 in the ratings. Compared to 2.8/4 that "The Gilmore Girls" did.
Is that good or bad??

real bad
1.8 is just over 2 million people which would make this the least watched episode of the season by about 650,000 people

Here's better info from tvguide
It was destroyed by House. What's really bad is it lost almost 40% of the Gilmore Girls audience.
Veronica Mars, meanwhile, slid 550,000 to "achieve" a new season low (2.74 mil).

(You're right, he's a moron. Did he at least get laid?)

BTW, has Veronica even been wrong this many times on a case?
She was wrong when she thought that Wendy didn't really want to find Max. She was wrong when she thought that Wendy and that other hooker (the one with the fake bruise makeup) were scamming Max. She was wrong when she thought that the judge would pay the extortion money. She was wrong when she thought that the $10,000 won't buy Wendy's freedom. She was wrong when she thought that Wendy was not going to try to repaid Max his money for buying her freedom (which she seems to be doing via stripping instead of hooking).
Veronica was wrong so many times on this case that she probably should've given Max a refund. (But then again, he is a fool, so he is best parted from his money.)

Don't believe me? Let's ask any man that's been divorced.
