help! DDD sale ended early!

okay, there was a b2g1 sale on i think fox & mgm movies..
i went through the list, added everything i wanted to my wishlist,
& wrote down all the necessary details,
so i could figure out exactly how i was spending my money through february..

eventually i narrowed the list down to around 27 dvds,
then i got a cash advance, because i wont get my check until the 1st,
& the sale would end on the 30th.. so i have ALREADY spent $35,
just so i could participate in the sale!

today i moved stuff from my wishlist to my cart,
only to find that no discount was being applied.
its still the 29th around 7pm, even on the east coast it cant be the 30th..

i am still entitled to the advertised discount,
but how do i manage this??

im going to try emailing them, but any help would be appreciated..

dvdplanet should cost more, dvdplanet charges me tax,
& theres no guarantee theyll even have all the same dvds i want..

but its looking like my only choice so far

still, im rather pissed about this..

well, dvdplanet had all the dvds i wanted except fargo,
so i added thief of bagdad instead since it was included in the sale (but not on ddd)...
the total price difference after tax was $16.62,
so i found a $10 coupon code to use.. & apparently i had 388 points
even though i cant remember the last time i bought from them..
so that gave me $5 off.. & with tax recalculated,
i actually ended up spending 36¢ less than planned.. ^^;
(& they accept paypal now, so i didnt need to update my credit card info..)

thanks for the tip!

For future reference, these DDD sales all seem to end during the afternoon of the last day instead of around midnight. The exception is the 20% off sales.

well one of the last b1g1 sales was still good the day it was set to expire,
& this time it was the day before either way..
if they generally expire early, then they should claim a sooner expiration,
then if its still good after that, id just consider that bonus time..
but for future reference, ill just subtract 2 maybe 3 days from their dates as a precaution..

whenever i see a sale i like & im short on cash,
i factor any fees/interest into my spending..
(initially i thought the cash advance fee would be $30 not $35,
but whats another $5? i spend more than that on drive thru..)
since i bought 27 dvds, the extra cost of a cash advance
raised my approximate average per dvd from $6.55 to $7.85,
still a nice enough price for me..

I thought DVDPlanet and DDD were both in Illinois? So if DVDPlanet is charging you tax, DDD will also be charging you tax.
