This aren't US Retail Version for what it's worth. I believe these are coded however as region 0 so they should play on any player.

What makes you think that? It's shown right on the page as region 1. They sell a lot of other DVDs that are all listed as region 1 and all have prices at or above usual prices. I see nothing to suggest this Flintstones set is anything other than a legit set that is being clearanced. If you know something the rest of us don't please share.

According to a forum posting over at SD, the Warner Bros. Sale discs are
Region 1 overstocks.
Here's the posting from "Flybynight" at SD:
Actually, they made a mistake on the listing, and it is really the licensed Region 1 version. I emailed them about it, and the sent me an email back:
"Dear Customer,
Thank you for spotting the improper region code for the Flintstones
Season 4 DVD. In fact the DVDs are Region 1 and are not boot legged.
These are original sealed DVD box sets we bought as overstock from
Warner Bros.
The reason the titles was incorrectly flagged Region 0 is our company
also re-releases classic Movies from our own Label "Alpha Video" and
nearly all of our releases are 0, so that was the default setting."

Got my set today. I can verify that its the original Region 1 set, sealed with collectors cell inside. The upc isnt cut, it just has a white sticker over it. Grreat deal. Thanks again OP!

Mine came today. It had a white sticker on the shrink wrap over the UPC. The UPC had a hole in it like it was melted as the outer sleeve is plastic.

Overstock stuff often has this as this is often a requirement for overstock sale from the manufacturer.

Where I do enjoy the growing nastiness on this site, when I never do any attacks. No I have already started to watch it, it is not just a collectors item. And sorry if I expect my product undamaged whether I pay a penny or a million dollars. Sorry if that concept is a problem, I really apologize. :)

I am ok with it...I am keeping it. I would have liked to have been informed prior there would be a 'cut out' as you call them. I am well aware they exist, I review DVDs I know how it goes to get stuff cheap or free. But it should be announced prior to purchase, plain and simple.

Found one of these Season 4 Flinstones with UPC cutout at the mall today for 7.99. They had several of the other Warner titles that were originally part of this sale for 4.99. No My Fair Lady 2 disc unfortunately. It was a store called Sound Shop. Most of their prices suck. These were in a special bargain disc section with tons of Alpha titles.
