I think Ted became the boss after his plan for that building saved the firm.

My least favorite episode of the season. This came off like some leftover sitcom script from the 80s with the character names changed.

Painfully cliched and kinda dumb. Don't recall laughing once.

$10,000 for an amateur painting? REALLY!? Just excatly how rich is Barney anyway?

Hey, I'm never gonna pooh-pooh an episode which has a little bit of naked Barney in it.

So the narration suggests ("That's how Lily and Marshall paid for their honeymoon.") that they will indeed be getting married. If anyone is still believing anything is still valid in this framing device.

This show is very uneven and I can see why the ratings are mediocre. It just wasn't a very funny episode.

And yet Lily remained fully clothed.

I figured they would tie together Ted's columns with the Barnana.

I loved seeing the Super Nintendo in the Lilly/Marshall flashback, and I would've like to have known what game Marshall was playing too.

They already established that they would definitely end up married in the 'Singles Stamina' episode at the end, amongst one other major plot change.

Apparently even the writers of the show agree with me that that was the single stupidest joke they've tried to pull off on this show and dropped it like a bad habit.

Thank God.

That's not how it went; It was:

Lilly: "Ted you can't let him treat you like that"
Marshall: "Yea you gotta ask yourself, 'Who's the boss?'"
Ted: "Tony"
Robin: "Angela"
Barney: "Mona"
Lilly: "Mona?"
Barney: "Watch it more closely. It'll rock your world."
