Saw III DVD
Future Shop (which does not ship to the US) is offering an exclusive two-disc edition which is seen here:
Target is also offering a two-disc exclusive edition which features almost the same cover as shown above except for the fact that Target's cover does not have the arms in the chains and just shows the chains hanging. Future Shop's website does not say what is on their bonus disc but I'm assuming it's the same content. I don't know if Target just censored the cover art for their ad and will have the same cover as Future Shop or if Target just has a different cover. Does anyone know if Target and Future Shop are owned by the same company? I really like Future Shop's cover but as stated above, they apparently do not ship to the US. I'm hoping Target also offers this cover in store.

Will this be it for this release or will there be another like the 1st 2? I would hate to get this and know another is likely.
Does this one have a DTS track?

The back of the DVD packaging says it's in 1.78:1, but IMDB has it listed as being released in a 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Does anyone know if the packaging was just a misprint, or if the IMDB info is incorrect?

IMDB is incorrect; Lionsgate 1.85:1 movies are always brought to DVD as 1.78:1; it's one of those "close enough for government work" kind of things...

Who thinks Lions Gate is going to release another edition of Saw III come October when Saw IV is released?

In the commentary the director said some day he would like to do the full 3 hour cut which i doubt would happen but he did say there were more deleted scenes. Lots of jokes about the 9, 16, and 29 or so disc versions of SAW in the future from Leigh and Darren.

I wouldn't be so sure...they usually shoot the Saw flicks over the summer and get them in theatres for October, so if we haven't heard anything by May, I'll agree with you...but I've heard news is coming sooner rather than later.

LGF already said SAW IV would be released on OCT 26th unless something drastic happens and they dont start filming by May. I am excited for another film as long as they stick w/ the current ideas and dont start up something new like a jigsaw wanna be.

Just listening to the 3rd commentary right now... Darren said there were 3 versions of the Rack. Theatrical, unrated, and directors cut for the future... Oh how predictable LGF marketing is
